GIMSON Nyonya Kapitan Curry is a Nyonya style flavoured curry. It is a richer, direr, thicker version of the standard chicken curry. It is very distinct that it is recognizable on the first taste! This curry sauce is made up of Southeast Asia’s local spices and herbs such as galangal, candlenuts, lemongrass and kaffir lime leaves. Belacan (a popular local fermented shrimp paste) is also added to give the dish more depth in spiciness and flavour. Besides the usual steamed white rice, this dish is also excellent when served with Roti Jala. Calling all curry fans to give this one a shot!
